Even being able to accurately map gravitational fields in real time
would be a huge benefit. This would enable a robust Interplanetary
Transport Network that would allow us to very efficiently transport
people and commodities around the solar system like existing highway or
railway systems allow planet side. Imagine a navigation computer that
calculated the precise burn and heading you would need to use
gravitational sling shots, transfer orbits, and braking at the
destination. Perhaps even something like an interplanetary bus route.
That seems achievable with existing technology especially with the
current advances in AI.
