Isolationist? Hardly. Remember he said he would bring the troops home? Didn't happen. Then he said more or less he would leave them but other countries had to pay their fair share. Although he did nothing to let EU take charge of NATO as many of the main countries in it have wanted to do for some time.
If he was truly isolationist the full (not just on paper) US defense budget would be around $500 billion. Instead it actually increased by 25% or more under Trump.
The many is a narcissistic megalomaniac. He is concerned to look tough or look like he is "winning". He is not concerned to know squat or to actually "Make America Great Again". That is only a slogan for the rubes.
Besides I would never even begin to consider this fool until he apologizes profusely for locking the country down and swears if elected he will ensure nothing of the kind can EVER be done to us again. Many may have forgotten that tyranny or wish to. Such is human nature. I haven't forgot or forgot Trump's hand in it.
