Good question billw.  That state’s delegates might be barred from entering the electoral college.  Or the EC might require the governor of that state to decide which delegates to send.  In the worst case, the number of delegates from that state might be enough to decide the election, in which case we have a national election in which we don’t know who won and we have no clear legal means of deciding.  This could trigger the second civil war.  This would be a bad thing.
