That used to be what we called female chairmen, before PC nonsense 
infected everyone.

I've said this a million times before (don't exaggerate, Ben): 
Discrimination is not words, it's deeds. Policing your language in the 
expectation that it will solve the woes of the world is not only naive 
and ineffective, it drains the joy out of life. It puts stand-up 
comedians out of work, deprives you of proper Man-Sized tissues, censors 
literature, makes for bland jam-jars, boring kid's toys, gets professors 
dismissed for doing their jobs properly, stigmatises 
irish/mother-in-law/etc. jokes, ignites stupid and vicious arguments 
between people ... The depressing litany goes on and on.

At least we can still poke fun at gingers, eh? Small mercies...
