Woohooooo! A customer!

DOH! It’s a Tesla. Isn’t charging, only parking. Not compatible with these chargers.

But he isn’t breaking any rules. The pavement markings say EV ONLY. Well, a Tesla is an EV, ja?

A standard 120 volt plug would take days to charge.

A standard 240 volt plug would take hours.

And a high amperage charger would start out fast. You could get the first 50% of charge in about 10 minutes. then things heat up and slow down, but still relatively fast.

OK cool thx Brent. This charging station is set up in the parking lot of a strip mall, so there is stuff to do. While he is charging, a prole can get his hair cut, his nails done, get a tooth fixed, eat a nice Vietnamese meal, or more traditional Taiwanese sandwiches and boba tea, he can even get a massaaaaage. (I am told it isn’t considered prostitution if there is no actual genital to genital contact (hey, California (I am told they take cash if you prefer (I don’t know any of this from firsthand knowledge, of course (or any other number of… hands from that massaaaage place.)))))

If we think about it, this is critical to the success of a charging business: to be where a prole has something to do right where he must wait for half an hour or more, preferably something perfectly legal (in California.)
