As noted, appeals are supposed to be the way to overturn illegitimate
verdicts.  Trump has appealed his convictions.  (It's been almost a
year, but those appeals are still processing.)

For the record: was appeal even feasible in Keith's cases, or was
Keith effectively (whether or not technically) denied that right?
