*Yes. The prosecution argued the "other crime" was using the fault
recordkeeping to conceal the payment scheme that would unlawfully influence
the 2016 election by keeping information from voters. And after hearing the
entire case the jury came to the decision that the prosecutors were correct
about that beyond a reasonable doubt. And that's what a "conviction" means.
He Who Must Not Be Named is appealing... No I take that back, the man is
not appealing at all ... Let me rephrase it ... You Know Who has asked a
higher court to reverse the conviction, but most legal scholars who do not
live inside the  Fox/TwitterX  bubble think it is unlikely to succeed. *
