Because TwitterX exists, we find out that Reagan didn’t say the things the Canada ad claimed, or not in that exact form.  The Canadians deceptively edited the 25 April Reagan speech.  Compare the ad to the full Reagan speech.  

 

The “news” program 60 Minutes was recently sued for deceptive editing.  When someone is quoted, the quote must be exact, given the full context.

 

We are better off when information flows freely.
