Apparently, the many Unitree robot videos are real.
I asked Perplexity AI to do a search and check out the Unitree robot,
Perplexity confirmed the videos and noted that the Unitree robot has a
skateboarding video as well. (From Feb 2026).
There are many videos available from Unitree and other sources.
Perplexity did have a caveat though. These are demo videos, after the
robot has gone through considerable training, hanging off a safety
cable. They are still best understood as a specialized mobility demo
rather than proof of general, everyday skating ability.
