This is the map of the fire:

 

 



 

The blue dot is where the house was.  The entire neighborhood of several hundred homes near Rifle Club Road burned.

 

 



 

All the way home to California, we were getting calls from friends and family, neighbors checking on each other.

 

We saved the family photo albums and some collectables.  The rest of it is up in smoke.  Everyone survived.
