It doesn't say which degree you got. But if you do apply for a SBIR,
copying https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Henson#Works into the
application would likely portray you as competent enough.

Eh...they seem to have a lot less influence these days. I'm not sure
they could intimidate the IRS any more.

That is not one of the criteria they judge on. Besides, Phase Is last
no more than 12 months, typically less, and I'm pretty sure you'll
still be around at the end of 2027. Those who make the funding
decisions don't look at individual contributors beyond the immediate
funding phase.

The AIs can't always help, but ask anyway. They might find places you
haven't looked.

Go over there and ask in person. Maybe ask if you can, if funded,
borrow some land to set up this trash-recycling demonstration. Tell
them that you're willing to pay to rent out of the project's budget if
it's funded, and you're trying to figure out how much you need to
budget to put in a proposal.

Done. I can't guarantee they're still doing Phase 0 assistance, but
I've asked. The autoreply suggests they're away right now but will be
back in the office next week.
