Most of what I have done since college is listed on the Wikipedia page
about me. Have you ever looked at it?

Scientology. They have not bothered me for close to ten years, buf if they
got wind I was doing anything, they would probably go after me again. Given
they intimidated the IRS, they probably would have no difficulty in
influencing other parts of the government. Age is another factor. Nobody is
going to fund someone likely to die before the project is done.

Put another way: if $200K dropped in

melters was Chinese. I might be able to get a price for one from them. That
is probably the most expensive part.

The other big problem is a place to put it. I live in a condo with a 15 by
25 patio. There is no way the HOA would put up with it, not the mention
that there is no way I could draw the power needed. The place can't even
charge electric cars.

The Sylmar landfill is about 15 miles to the west. But I have been utterly
unsuccessful in gaining the attention of anyone from LASAN or LADWP. Even a
very small prototype would need both.

If that is your only issue with you running it, there's help for that.

I really doubt I would fund it. Even $50 million isn't enough to build a
full scale prototype. And it would take 30 of them at 2500 tons per day to
cope with LA's trash. It is just too big. Still it is a lot smaller than
power satellites and I worked on that for ten years.

If that is your only issue with getting the government to give you the

Introduce away. It never hurts for more people to become familiar with the
idea. Eventually, when the summer heat waves are killing millions, the
government (if it still exists) may decide that projects like this are a
good idea.
