Heh. John, Grok does not go about witnessing large numbers of homeless people. I see them every day. Anyone can register voters, with a signature, with or without an actual home, for a home is not required to vote in California, nor is photo ID, nor proof of citizenship. One can have a mailing address without a home or legal citizenship (a post office box for instance.) Several people can share a post office box. Mail-in balloting makes it so easy: register arbitrary numbers of people, with a verifiable signature but without legal voting rights, collect the ballots when they arrive, go get the signatures on them, fill out the choices at their leisure, drop them in the mailbox.

Result: we don’t know what is the popular vote in the most populated state in the union, nor we know what is the popular vote at the national level, because of California’s policy on legal ballot harvesting. We can claim all we want that this obvious approach to stealing elections does not occur, but never do we see actual proof that it doesn’t. We have never seen proof that a voting machine can’t be hacked and cannot malfunction, as it appears was the case last week in a Michigan primary, specifically in Detroit.

(Countdown to someone pointing out that you can never prove a negative: five…four… three…)
