*The dictionary on my iMac says the definition of the word "experience" is
"practical contact with and observation of facts or events". The word
"observation" is interesting because, with the exception of Many Worlds, it
has caused a lot of trouble for Copenhagen and other quantum
interpretations. According to my dictionary, the first definition of
"observation" is "the action or process of observing something" but I
didn't find that definition to be particularly enlightening, the second
definition was "a remark, statement, or comment based on something one has
noticed". And the definition of noticing is "becoming aware of", and a
synonym for "aware of" is "conscious of". And round and round we go. *
