Brent, why on earth did you bother to write that?
Do you seriously think that there are people (that there are /physicists/) who think that the perception of redness is NOT different from actual red light? That some people really think that red light shines in their brains?
Do you think that there are people who think that an actual polar bear materialises inside their brains every time they think of a polar bear?
And that this needs to be /demonstrated/ to be untrue?
This isn't a 'fundamental physics question', it's a sanity question!
