Take a look at the most recent blowout growth numbers from the exact chip
and hardware infrastructure companies driving this shift:

* **Micron:** Just delivered an absolute blockbuster earnings report, with
revenue soaring to $41.46 billion—representing a staggering 346%
year-over-year growth that completely blew past consensus expectations by
$5.6 billion. Their adjusted operating income hit $33.68 billion,
reflecting an incredible 81.2% operating margin driven by tight AI memory
constraints.
* **NVIDIA:** Their full fiscal 2026 results hit a record $215.9 billion in
revenue (up 65% from a year ago). In their most recent Q4 alone, revenue
reached $68.1 billion (up 73% year-over-year) while net income surged 94%
to $42.96 billion.
* **TSMC:** Their consolidated revenue for May 2026 hit NT$416.98 billion,
up 30.1% year-over-year, and management has explicitly guided for full-year
2026 revenue to grow by above 30% in U.S. dollar terms.
* **Seagate (STX):** Even looking at primary data storage, analysts are
projecting massive fundamentals with earnings estimated to grow by over 83%
this year.

Unlike the railroad boom or early internet era where hundreds of redundant
companies burned through cash hoping to survive, the modern AI hardware
layer is heavily consolidated around a few critical, high-barrier
bottleneck operators who possess enormous pricing power and are printing
massive free cash flow.

While speculative 2nd and 3rd order tech plays might experience
corrections, as long as the foundational hardware layer is backing up its
valuations with triple-digit top-line growth and record profit margins,
it's hard to argue this is a pure bubble built on thin air. The cash
generation is very real.
