absorbs red light but not blue light and a slightly different molecule that
absorbs blue light but not red light, but that won't help you understand
the jump between objective and subjective. I have never been clear about
what exactly would satisfy you that the problem has been solved, I think
you'd keep asking "why" questions forever, or until you hit a brute fact. *
