*That was very interesting thanks for posting it; and it's certainly true
that we live in interesting times, especially relevant was the following: *
*"The Taiwan risk is real: Two-thirds of all GPUs come through TSMC. If
anything disrupts production (an earthquake, a military conflict, even a
prolonged drought affecting the island’s water-intensive chip fabrication),
our AI future grinds to a halt. Intel instantly becomes the most valuable
asset on the planet. TeraFab is a national security hedge for the entire
Western AI stack."*
*That's another reason why starting the Iran war was so incredibly stupid,
it distracts us from the vastly more important China-Taiwan situation.
China has wanted to attack Taiwan for 70 years and if they're ever going to
do so now would be the perfect time to do it. That's because although the
war with Iran hasn't been going on for very long it's been long enough for
the US military to be stretched beyond the breaking point. Iran doesn't
matter. Taiwan does. *
*The U.S. is Facing an Ammunition Shortage Due to the Iran War*
<https://time.com/article/2026/05/12/US-ammunition-shortage-iran-war/>
*And instead of building more **Tomahawks and vast numbers of **cheap
drones, the
president wants to bring back ultra expensive battleships!! And of course
there is the all important billion dollar ballroom, and his new billion
dollar slush fund.*
