Given that observers themselves exist in sufficiently rich mathematical
realities, it's hard to separate platonism from broader ontological
questions.

This leads me to wonder if Gemini believes our own universe is
mathematical, and if so:

Then who/what created the universe we were born into? Doesn't Gemini's
theory require a first theorist to theorize mathematical reality into
existence? Does it end in an infinite regress, a first mathematician, or
are observer states somehow circular and self supporting?

This view reminded me a bit of Wolfram's concept of the "Ruliad":
https://writings.stephenwolfram.com/2021/11/the-concept-of-the-ruliad/

Which he defined as the structure that emerges from following all possible
rules in all possible ways:

"One’s first impression might be that the ruliad effectively contains many
possible “parallel universes”, and that we have selected ourselves into one
of these, perhaps as a result of our particular characteristics. But in
fact the ruliad isn’t about “parallel universes”, it’s about universes that
are entangled at the finest possible level. And an important consequence of
this is that it means we’re not “stuck in a particular parallel universe”.
Instead, we can expect that by somehow “changing our point of view”, we can
effectively find ourselves in a “different universe”."

The connection I saw with Gemini was to the the idea that changing one's
mind alters the reality in which one sees and is a part of.
