That’s two out of nine. We have at least two who are literalist/originalist (Barrett and Kavanaugh) so now you need to convince us that three of the remaining five (Gorsuch, Jackson, Sotomayor, Roberts and Kagan) would go along with Thomas and Alito.
>…will say anything that Donald Trump wants it to say….
Of Gorsuch, Jackson, Sotomayor, Roberts and Kagan, which three please?
> John perhaps you believe the framers of the constitution were too stupid to think of those kinds of scenarios?
>…I believe that NOBODY is smart enough to figure out a way that squiggles written on a piece of paper…
This guy agrees with you John:

But I disagree with both.
>… can enforce itself….
It doesn’t enforce itself. The military and the militia enforce it.
> elections happen at the state level.
>…And that's why the Democrats couldn't order a new series of primary elections when, just 107 days before election day, Joe Biden withdrew from the election….
They could. Every state chose to not. Why do you suppose that happened?
>...So you think the only way to preserve democracy is to make sure that a Wyoming voter has 70 TIMES as much influence in determining who the next president should be than a California voter….
Always picking on Wyoming. It’s a great state. Californians have the option to move there if they choose. But the way it should be stated is that the Wyoming voter has 70 times as much influence in choosing the delegates to represent Wyoming as the California voter has influence to choose the California delegate. OK. So, Californians can move to Wyoming. That state has a great future: it is not crowded, it has a lot of coal and natural gas, open minded environmental laws, 70 times the influence of California voters, such a deal.
>… and Dakota with a population of 1.7 million people deserves 4 senators,
Which Dakota has 4 senators please?
>…
> That’s why we have an electoral college:
>…The electoral college was a compromise to ensure that free states didn't have more influence than slave states….
Aren’t you glad they are all free states now? So am I.
>…if I was an electoral college fan… John K Clark
Be an electoral college fan John. Be proud of it. It protects minority rights.
