ME: In the USA at the height of the Covid pandemic how much did getting the recommended two shots of the mRNA vaccine a couple of weeks apart reduce the risk of getting Covid and how much did it reduce the risk of death?

But that isn’t what they told us.  We were told that with this vaccine, we wouldn’t catch it and wouldn’t transmit it.  After plenty of people got the vaccine, caught and transmitted, we were told our risk of catching and risk of death would be reduced.  OK.  So… which is it John?  And what about those who had already caught it, as I did in December 2019, before it mutated into a mild seasonal flu?  Did that mRNA do something for the immune system that natural immunity could not do?  We were told it did.  Why?
