But you somehow failed in the subsequent years to learn how to evaluate sources.  Those writing on the subject have no access to the information upon which they are opining.  Those who know are not telling.  

 

Notice there was a massive barrage from Iran today, which scored no hits on US personnel.  Rather remarkable success with missiles they no longer have.  That being said… If the USA does actually run short of defensive missiles, you do know what happens next, ja?  Think about it, even if it is unthinkable.

Ja, they have plenty of missiles left for what is left to be done.  Grok does cede that their source is “some estimates”  which is the functional equivalent to it doesn’t know.  That it doesn’t know is intentional.  Do keep in mind what happens if the US military really does run short of defensive missiles.  They bomb Tehran into the seventh century, then drop a few more until the Iranians accept Jesus Ramirez as their lord and savior.

John you really aren’t getting this at all.  Iran is attacking US military bases in those countries you listed.  They haven’t attacked those countries intentionally, for very good reasons.

 

The Strait of Hormuz is mined.  Iran has the option to mine it at any time, then claim they didn’t do it.  The US has the option to blockade it from the south at any time.  Every oil-producing nation in the Middle East knows they cannot rely on that strait as their only means to transport oil.  But they can rely on roads and trucks.  They can rely what happens next if Iran attacks their roadbuilders or oil fields: the few surviving Iranians will be praying to Jesus Ramirez.  It is looking to me like this war might escalate dramatically.  If it does, this will be a bad thing.
