*The 4th amendment, like everything else in the US Constitution, is not a
thinking entity, it is a piece of paper with squiggles written on it, human
beings are needed to determine what those squiggles mean and do not mean.
That would be especially true if the passage has a squiggle such as
"unreasonable" in it. An even more egregious example of this was the
decision concerning native born citizenship. 3 of the 9 Supreme Court
judges said the 14th amendment doesn't really mean what, to my eye at
least, it unambiguously says; but of course I'm not on the Supreme Court so
my opinion doesn't matter.  None of this should be surprising…  I mean…
what did you expect to happen when a president keeps nominating crypto
fascists to the Supreme Court and Republican sycophantic Senators keep
approving them? *
