Clarification: states have the authority to outlaw development of AI, but only IN THAT STATE.  California is developing an attitude against AI.

I can foresee Nevada becoming a very important state, because of its open-minded attitude toward power production, and what I think will be an open-minded attitude toward development of AI.

I recently toured West Virginia, family history.  They are developing data centers bigtime there.  They have water, they have coal, they have an eagerness to create jobs in the business of building data centers.  Future big players: Nevada, West Virginia, Wyoming.

Holden West Virginia.  They have coal, they have natural gas in abundance, they have water, they have eager and hungry laboring class.  Some locals are resisting, and I think I know why: they don't know anything about AI and don't want to change.  But more of the locals want jobs.  I predict the Adams Fork Harless Data Center will be built.
