I am not sure about that. States cannot pass capricious laws. I am fairly
sure they would have to make a case that AI was somehow illegal or prove
that it hurt people.

 Not that it matters one bit. LLM AI systems exist that can run on a
laptop. In any case, some of the major AI companies are located in CA
Driving them out is not in California's interest or the AI companies. I
seriously doubt such a bill would pass and not be vetoed by any governor.
And if both happened, I suspect the courts would strike the law down.

Does anyone take exception to this analysis?
