It's always statements like it's "only a digital map of the brain that is
not capable of sentience or conscious perception in any tangible biological
sense."

I wish people could be more specific, as all biological behavior is
simulatable / mappable.

The only difference is that a map (a word like 'red') isn't like
anything—i.e., it lacks qualia like redness—which is all 'sentience' is.
