If we want to solve some of this I think
one place to start is by decriminalizing
marijuana.

We could have licensed farmers to grow
it, licensed stores to sell it, and rules
against driving stoned.

We could save a lot of prison money
by releasing anyone incarcerated for
pot crimes.

I think there is very little social support
for continuation of the present laws.

Certainly our kids think no more of
smoking a joint than they do of
drinking a beer.
