We need a new paradigm.

A paradigm of cooperation, not competition.

In the onrushing crisis of resources, we may,
as we are in Iraq, reach for the sword as a
solution.  And we may find that it doesn't
work that well.

Then what?

If we are still alive, cooperation will be the
only viable choice.

And vision.

Vision to see that we cannot grow without
end in any dimension.  Vision to see that
perhaps human life is a value, if only as a
steppingstone to some higher level of
evolution.
