I'm not too concerned, myself. So what if they are leery of even
allowing potentially grey gooish technolgies be developed? What they
intend to fund will build a lot of the tools that will be needed to
accomplish a self assembler technology anyways. All this does is ensure
that the self-assembler technology will be developed solely as a
private enterprise, with no federal mucking about or potential military confiscation.
