The mainstream news media are having a
field day over here with the French 
riots: they love to cover anything that 
bleeds or burns.

Are there any French or Europeans that 
have enlightening commentary from an 
extropian point of view?  Our yankee
news media have very little credibility.

Specific question: they keep saying these
are the worst riots since the 1968 student
uprisings.  What were they rioting about
in 1968?
