It obviously depends on the local traffic.

Current hybrids are not particularly efficient. Right now I range
between 5.8 and 6.6 l/100 km (depending on the driving style), 
and my car is not that efficient (a Honda Jazz).

I burn about 50 EUR/month for gas. Considerably less when I take
the bike (about 50 min one way).
