I'm drinking my morning coffee, watching a panel discussion on the
50th anniversary celebration of the publication of Atlas Shrugged.
One of the panelists mentioned that the book was finally being turned
into a movie, coming out next year.

So, mildly curious as to whether it was low-budget or big-studio and
particularly whether it was real, after decades of rumored Stranger
in a Strange Land movies, I checked IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0480239/

The holy cow part is that the star of the movie is Angelina Jolie.
And seems to be legit:

If that can happen, maybe I'll get the movies I want of other
unfilmed books I like better.

And if an objectivist movie starring Jolie can come out coincident
with Ron Paul getting the biggest presidential success of any
libertarian since Goldwater, maybe the US isn't swirling down the
drain after all.
