Or it may be a wash... No serious academic has done a study showing the
opposite... i.e. that conservatives as a group are more intelligent than
liberals... which may be a case of who's doing such studies... who knows?

All that being said, any attempt to change the country's IQ would most
certainly be presented in the press as the Republicans trying to depress
the Democrat's voting base.

Both sides likely view the other as having lower IQs, but it would be
quashed as an anti-Democratic pogrom.
