​Nothing is official yet but yesterday Professor Lawrence M Krauss Tweeted
"My earlier rumor about LIGO has been confirmed by independent sources.
Stay tuned! Gravitational waves may have been discovered!! Exciting".  All
the LIGO people  (whose detector has very recently been greatly upgraded )
will say officially is "The detectors have the potential of being 10 times
more sensitive than initial LIGO. We will share results when ready - we
hope in a month or two from now, but of course we'll take the time we need
to carefully review our results."
