I think we're getting the government we deserve. Yes, Trump is horrible,
but our government sucked long before he entered the scene. I think we're
way past the point where things can be corrected by voters choosing the
less evil candidate. I've even come to realize that any damage Trump does
to the government and the presidency is positive, even if it doesn't
immediately lead to wiping the slate clean. And, frankly, I don't have a
good feeling about our ability to make a sensible government from a clean
slate.
