Please be careful when quoting others... because the way this particular post looks, it might seem like you’re quoting me and not Rafal.

In fact, my position is diametrically opposed to his on this issue. In fact, I support police abolition and certainly don’t advocate secret police. Also, it seems like he believes everyone lives in a war zone rather than what history and statistics show: ever decreasing levels of violence and (private) property crime.

As for your particular differences with him, you must not read the news or look at the data on how the police in the US have very few restraints on their power and, in fact, do kick in doors and shoot unarmed people and their dogs.
