Oh wow. That's a HUGE question. Like, "a few interdisciplinary PH.d's and
an academic career or two worth of papers" huge.
But a good starting point would be to survey the vast landscape of games
humans have created, make the more speculative survey of the ways in which
an AI's neural architecture would vary from a baseline human's [both in
terms of raw capabilities - speed, short-term memory capacity, and
motivations - what do they consider to be "fun" and engaging compared to
what humans consider to be fun and engaging], and project accordingly.
