Don't you think that if Saddam were faced with a united front of the
international community, that he would have left office without all the
destruction, bloodshed, and now the insurgency campaign? Instead, we
get France promoting this idea that the US needs to be counterbalanced
for the simple yet completely amoral pretext that it isn't a good thing
for one nation, no matter how benign when compared to history, to be
the sole superpower.

This is as dumb, wasteful, and idiotic a rationale as deciding to
disagree in a discussion only because one feels that if everyone agreed
on something, it wouldn't somehow be 'right'. What the HELL is that about?
