I think the date of the Singularity is unknown, if it were predictable it
wouldn't be a Singularity. If it happens a thousand years from now in 999
years it will still seem to be a long way off. Whenever it comes it will be
a big surprise.

Have you taken liquid nitrogen into account? If it works (a big if I admit)
it won't matter if it takes a million years, subjectively the wait will
seem instantaneous.
