What if… the current administration leads in the polls, is hit with a Tarkin video and loses by a sliver?  Or what if… the current admin’s opponent leads in the polls, is hit with a Tarkin and loses by a sliver?  Imagine both sides are hit and the election is a cliff-hanger, so we don’t really know what would have happened.  In any of these scenarios, we could see a culture war to beat the band.

 

If we speculate that all sides are working on Tarkins aimed to damage all sides, what can we do?  Shouldn’t we be demonstrating the tech now?  If we do, what is the impact of the public (not just USian but everywhere) realizing they can no longer believe what they see and hear?
