I wouldn't call a computer program that starts with zero knowledge and in
less than a day teaches itself to play Checkers, Chess, GO and Shogi at a
superhuman level "very narrow"; narrow perhaps but not very.

So AGI is stuff that AI can't do *YET*, and that means the definition of
AGI changes every month if not every day. There is no way that can cause a
increase in overall clarity.
