Most people assume the "blank
slate" model for humans, i.e., little or no understanding about human
motivation such as status-seeking and they do not accept that humans
have behavior switches that get flipped by external conditions.  keith

I would really like to see some data on these assertions, particularly the
blank slate part (John Locke).  People don't understand status-seeking?
Really?  I thought everybody understood showing off.  By 'behavior
switches' do you mean things like Pavlov's bell?  This terminology is not
familiar to me.
