Ja.  Without even looking up either Pogo or his comment, I am guessing you meant the profound:

I remembered the comment made by a colleage who was with me that time we were in OHair in November.  After I told someone at the office we had been in a Chicago blizzard.  She reminded me that was not a Chicago blizzard, speculating that I had never seen one, and probably would never.  In a Chicago blizzard, the wind comes from the northeast and is going about twice the speed of that gentle 30 knot wind from the northwest.  In a real blizzard, planes cannot fly: too dangerous.

 

Now I am really pondering what in the hell we are going to do in those South Chicago food deserts when the gales of November come slashing down off that lake.  Oh mercy upon those hapless residents, and shame, shame upon those who would loot and burn the lifeline of that city.
