Dang, so sorry to hear.  I'll have to reach out to him in person.

In comparison to John Clark's noisy opinion, which wasn't canonized.
Stathis did canonize his very brilliantly argued opinion
<https://canonizer.com/topic/88-Theories-of-Consciousness/8-Functional-Prprty-Dualism>,
and continued to support what became a leading popular consensus camp
supported by some brilliant people.  However, functionalism camps continue
to lose support compared to other camps. So even well argued, popular
consensus camps will eventually start to fail compared to better argued
positions  Again, all in my not so humble, obviously biased opinion.
