Marxism is what Marxists do, not what they say. Once you have Marxists in
power, and it did happen a number of times, the outcome *is* Marxism, that
is, the consequence of applying Marxists principles (dictatorship of the
proletariat by the vanguard of the proletariat, abolition of private
ownership of means of production, etc.) in real life. To say "What happens
after Marxist principles are used is not true Marxism" is a form of the "no
true Scotsman" fallacy.

Marxists and other mountebanks often tell a tall tale of Utopia ("true
communism") and great goodness ("million dollars") that you are sure to
reach if you follow their bullshit advice ("give us totalitarian power over
the society", "send me $1000 to unlock the bank of account of Miss Ulala
Akinyere, widow of Mr Akinyere of the Big Bank of Nigeria"). Only stupid
people fall for it.

Unfortunately, there is a large supply of stupid people.
