I cannot deny that. However, I believe that qualities are made of relationships rather than physical objects. No, I do not believe that a computer that merely labels an apple red has an experience of redness. I believe redness comprises particle interactions that may be represented as a particle interaction graph. Simple label assignment lacks the complex structure of interactions that plays out in human brains. It is easy to see this by drawing the computation graph of a label assignment. It is apparent that no interesting computation occurs in this case, just a boring lookup table.
