This is all going to be rendered moot, anyway, by the new multi-modal 
models.

Nobody is going to be able to use the 'grounding' argument, no matter 
how you define it (ignoring Carbon Chauvinism (which should be ignored, 
when it's not being ridiculed)), to claim they don't understand what 
they're talking about.

When the bastard offspring of a Boston Dynamics robot and a multi-modal 
LMM spontaneously points to a German Shepherd and says "Oh, look, a tiny 
horse!", we'll know.
