Ha, if we manage to even get there I'll be surprised.   Sorry to be such a doomer.  It is just scary to see people playing around with such grave ontological concepts as if they're just the next killer app.  Unbridled technocratic competition is going to kill us all…

 

 

What is the opposite of unbridled technocratic competition?  Reverse one word or three?  Bridled bureaucratic cooperation?

 

We should be discussing how brittle our system has become.  I earlier used the example of how the system comes flying apart from just our communications system failing.  So how do we dial in some robustness to modern society?
