Ja entirely possible.  The originalists looked at the constitution and didn’t see a word in there about the right to abortion.  As I understand it, they took a highly polarizing issue, one side demanded the federal government force abortion to be legal everywhere, the other side really wanted abortion to be illegal everywhere.  The Supreme court had to tell both sides it couldn’t help them, for it wasn’t empowered to do that.  States are in charge of that.

Ja, when it comes to military stuff, the rules might be different.  Cape Canaveral was taken from the people who lived there and turned into a military facility to test rockets.  They were reimbursed, but some didn’t want to go.  They had to anyway.

In principle I agree.  The reason I suggest it is that the infrastructure for a coal plant is already in place.  The Chinese are demonstrating how fast those can be built.  The coal mines are already producing, the fracking facilities don’t take long to put in place.  There are already places available in mountain country where it is flat: strip mines.  It is very mountainous everywhere, except where a strip mine once was: they blasted away the top of the mountain.  Now, it is flat there.  Perfect place for a data center: it is away from population centers, the roads and rails are already in place to haul in coal, the ones which were originally put there to haul out coal.  Speed is important, for we just don’t have much time: this notion can supply plenty of jobs and be built out in the short time we have before AI kills everybody.
