A special man in my life for 15 years work for the NSA and part of the project that set this center up in Louisiana you know years ago. He was a lovely man I miss him desperately he passed away because of complications from diabetes. In the South mothers put a nipple on a bottle of Coca-Cola so his body was born and over stimulated by sugar all of his life

Ilsa so sorry to hear of the passing of your man.

 

Of course our southern mamas put a nipple on a coke bottle.  What else could they do?  The babies would spill it all over themselves otherwise.  Once we could hold our own soda can, our breakfast cereal was about half sugar: Capn Crunch, Sugar Frosted Flakes, Froot Loops, hey breakfast of champions.  Many of us survive to this day, but I too have diabetic tendencies.  

 

It was the 60s.  Parents didn’t know better.  They received parenting advice from Dr. Spock.  Unfortunately most parents didn’t realize it wasn’t the guy from Star Trek.  So when it came time to retire for the evening, if we gave them any crap they would give us a Vulcan nerve pinch, then tuck us into bed unconscious.  

 

Good chance plenty of us here were force fed liver, fried of course, with our mothers certain it was healthy food (lots of iron (and other toxins that organ removed from the cow (but we were lucky (it didn’t become nutritional traditional to feed the children bovine penis.))))

 

That data center will be part of his legacy and your fond memories of him.  Best wishes to you madam.
